ROOTED | 2026

The one command Jesus gave His followers before He ascended into heaven was to go make disciples. We call this discipleship. A decision for Christ for salvation is not thesame as learning how to be a committed follower of Jesus.

To become a disciple takes time, discipline, community, ministry, and consistent intimacy with God. This is why we have a pathway  for all of these things to happen.

Rooted is an 11-week discipleship experience that helps believers discover and practice the 7 rhythms of Christ followers.

These rhythms are..
1. A daily devotional time with God
2. Prayer
3. Repentance
4. Sacrificial generosity
5. Service to the community
6. Sharing your story of salvation
7. Worship.

It is experienced by…

- Being in a small group of up to10 other believers
- Meeting weekly for discussion and prayer for 11 weeks
- Doing 5 daily devotionals each week
- Participating in a serve event in the community

It is our hope that everyone who is a part of the Oaks Church family will walk through the Rooted experience. Because it is a high commitment experience where participation
is essential for its success, if someone misses more than two weeks, they will be asked to repeat the experience at a later date.

The cost for Rooted will be $35. This covers the
cost of your Rooted book and your meal at our celebration event.

February 5, 2026 thru April 16, 2026 (Thursdays)
