Our community commitment
Good work starts
with good neighbors.
These terms help us build a useful, respectful place for the Oaks community to connect.
Terms version: 2026-10-07
01.An Oaks member community
You must be a member of Oaks Church to create an account, publish a listing, access member contact details, or download a resume. By registering, you confirm your membership honestly. Oaks administrators may ask for additional confirmation and may restrict accounts that do not meet this requirement.
02.Share accurate, useful information
Use your own name and describe your business, experience, qualifications, and opportunities accurately. Post only work, services, and opportunities you have the right to offer. Keep listings up to date, pause filled opportunities, and remove information that is no longer relevant.
03.Treat people with care
Be respectful, truthful, and considerate. Harassment, discrimination, deceptive recruiting, scams, unlawful services, spam, unsolicited bulk messages, and multi-level marketing recruitment are not permitted. Do not pressure another member to buy, hire, give money, or share personal information.
04.Protect personal information
Listing titles, descriptions, names, locations, website links, and uploaded photos or logos are visible to visitors. Listing email addresses, phone numbers, and resumes are available to signed-in, active marketplace members. Share only information you intend others to see. Do not upload identity documents, financial account details, or someone else’s private information. Members must not harvest contacts or redistribute resumes without permission.
05.Upload content you can share
You are responsible for the images, logos, resumes, and links you publish and for having permission to use them. Uploads must not contain harmful content or software. Resumes may be PDF, DOC, or DOCX files. Photos may be JPG, PNG, or WebP. Each file must be smaller than 5 MB.
06.Make your own informed decisions
Member listings are not endorsements, background checks, guarantees, or professional recommendations by Oaks Church. Membership is confirmed by each member at signup. Evaluate qualifications, references, safety, and business terms directly before hiring, purchasing, working together, or entering a mentoring relationship. Agreements and payments are handled directly between participants.
07.Help care for the marketplace
You can edit, pause, or delete your own listings and report other listings that raise a concern. Oaks administrators can review reports, remove listings, deactivate categories, and suspend or ban accounts. A removed listing cannot be republished by its owner until an administrator restores it. Contact Oaks through the church’s contact page if you need help or want a moderation decision reviewed.
08.Your agreement
By creating an account, you accept these terms and the site privacy policy. We record the date and version accepted with your membership confirmation. The marketplace is provided as a community connection service; availability and features may change.
